五、课前准备 教具准备:
1、将choose, wrong number, absent中英文写于小黑板; D部分图片;课文A 部分磁带及录音机。
2、板书准备:写好Unit telephone call。

(一)Greeting
(二)Review 出示Part D的图片
S (Look at the picture and say the sentences.)
(三)Presentation
1、出示课文挂图一
T: Today is Wednesday, all the students are at school, but Helen is not at school, she’s absent.
小黑板出示:absent 缺席 S:理解,跟读
2、T: So, Su Yang called Helen. What did they say?(放磁带)
3、学生听完后说:May I speak to Helen? This is Helen speaking. (边板书这两句话边范读)S:跟读。
4、Drill 操练这对话
5. Learn “Why are you absent?” T: Let’s go on .Listen!(继续放磁带) S(模仿)Why are you absent? I'm ill. S:理解中文,跟读。
(六)Consolidation
1、Read after the tape.
2、Act the dialogue.
3、Make a dialogue with friends.
4、Check it up.
(七) Class work
1、S: Individual study Part F. T: Teach “choose” “wrong number”. Read together.

1、Listen and repeat the text.
